Explanation

「~も~ば~も~」 is used when describing multiple characteristics or actions. It often appears with the conditional form (ば) plus も, indicating that 'A is true, and also B is true.' For example, 'He can do X, and he can also do Y.' It's different from '~ば~ほど', which means 'the more… the more…'.

Example sentences

  • He is good at studying and also at sports.

    Kare wa benkyou mo dekireba supootsu mo dekiru.

  • This restaurant is cheap, and the food is also good.

    Kono resutoran wa nedan mo yasukereba aji mo ii.
