Change an い-adjective into a polite negative form with ~くないです (or ~くありません).

Explanation

To make an い-adjective negative and polite, remove the final い and add くないです. An alternative more formal style is くありません. For example, 美味しい -> 美味しくないです / 美味しくありません。

  • This pizza is not delicious.

    Kono piza wa oishiku nai desu.

  • This room is not spacious.

    Kono heya wa hiroku nai desu.

  • His opinion is not interesting.

    Kare no iken wa omoshiroku nai desu.

  • That movie is not enjoyable.
