Noun ni shite

Expresses the idea 'even for', 'even though', or 'in spite of'.

Literary "even for/even at (a point that would normally be enough)"; narrow, high-register usage.

Explanation

The grammar point Noun にして expresses a sense of surprise, disbelief or unexpectedness in response to a situation or circumstance. Generally, it is used when the speaker wants to convey that something is unexpected even for someone (noun) or in their situation.
